The Data Protection Act ensure that you have data protection rights.

RS Anderson Treasury (Pty) Ltd (RSAT) is obligated to make sure you are fully aware of all your data protection rights.

  • You have the rights to the following:
    The right to access. You may ask for copies of your personal data kept by RSAT. This service may incur a small fee.
  • The right to erasure. You may request that RSAT erase your personal data, under certain conditions.
  • The right to rectification. You are entitled to request that RSAT correct any information you believe is inaccurate. Similarly, you are entitled to request RSAT to complete the information you believe is incomplete.
  • The right to restrict processing. You are entitled, under certain conditions, to request that RSAT restrict the processing of your personal data.
  • The right to object to processing. You have the right, under certain conditions, to object to RSAT processing your personal data.
  • The right to data transfer. You are entitled, under certain conditions to request RSAT to transfer the data that we have collected to another organisation, or directly to you.
  • If you would like to exercise any of these rights, please contact us. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to your request.

We collect the following data:

  • Identification Number
  • SARS Tax Number
  • Address and Contact details
  • Bank Account Details
  • Uploaded and generated documents

You provide RSAT with the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:

  • Register online or place an order for any of our products or services.
  • Voluntarily complete a customer survey or provide feedback on any of our message boards or via email.
  • Use or view our website via your browser’s cookies.

RSAT may also receive your data indirectly from the following sources:

  • Receiver of revenue
  • Banks
  • Other financial services institutions you may mandate

We use your information to process the mandate you instructed to comply with legislation in South Africa and elsewhere as required.

RSAT collects your data so that we can process your mandate and manage your account(s). We email you with information pertaining to your mandate. RSAT will not share your data unless instructed by you or a court of law. RSAT may use your data when liaising with banks and the Receiver of Revenue mandated by you to facilitate transactions.

RSAT will keep your personal information securely for only the legal required amount of time. Once this time has expired, we will delete your data from all our records as required by law.

RSAT does not send marketing related material, nor do we share your data with 3rd parties, unless required so by law.
